FXCM qui est l'un des principaux brokers forex régulés vient de publier ses résultats trimestriels relatifs aux volumes de transactions de ses traders en juillet. Ces résultats sont assez mitigés et reflètent les conditions de marché rudes en cette période d'été.
Le volume de transactions qui fut réalisé par l'ensemble des traders particuliers (traders retail) du broker FXCM au mois de juillet 2014 représentait un total de 263 milliards de dollars, cela représente une croissance de 4% par rapport aux volumes réalisés un mois auparavant (en juin) mais en revanche c'est 32% de moins que sur la même période en 2013, le volume de transactions moyen par jour en ce qui concerne les traders particulier est donc de 11,4 milliards de dollars en juillet, en moyenne ce sont 345.589 trades qui ont été exécutés chaque jour du mois de juillet par ces traders, c'est 1% de moins qu'en juin 2014 et également 24% inférieur aux statistiques de FXCM en juin 2013. Le nombre de comptes de trading FXCM actifs a diminué en juillet 2014, le courtier en comptabilisait 6.571 de moins qu'en début de mois, soit -3% sur une base mensuelle mais tout de même +4% sur une base annuelle.
Malgré des résultats assez peu satisfaisants en ce qui concerne les traders particuliers, FXCM a de quoi positiver en constatant les résultats croissants de ses traders institutionnels (traders professionnels), ces derners ont réalisé 262 milliards de dollars de volumes de transaction ce qui représente 42% de plus que sur la même période une année auparavant et même un record pour le broker. En moyenne 45.223 opérations ont été exécutées par les traders institutionnels de FXCM chaque jour (17% de moins qu'en juin 2014 mais 2% de plus qu'en juillet 2013).
Les résultats relativement faibles des traders particuliers en juillet s'expliquent étant donné les conditions de marché difficiles constatées à cette période, au cours du second trimestre 2014 la volatilité sur le marché du Forex a atteint des plus-bas chez FXCM qui a constaté des volumes en forte baisse, quoi qu’il en soit les chiffres en hausse des traders institutionnels nous montrent une fois de plus que FXCM est un broker forex et un associé de confiance en matière de courtage sur les marchés financiers.
